Hello/Good bye on the first day of school

This year my first day of school is going to be an interesting one.  I am teaching the first day, then I fly out on a late flight out of Toronto to Amsterdam that night.   It's going to be fun telling the students about my trip, and the race, and how I prepare to compete with team Canada, but it is so incredibly busy to prepare for both of these events at the same time.

Here's my classroom.  I'm not quite ready yet (and will be back at the school this weekend), but it's getting closer.  Love the new tables.  I'm excited to greet the kids on Tuesday.
